My IIT Guwahati Trip: Part-I

Our Paper selected in IIT Guwahati.
We,Kaniyarasu,Ramkumar,Panner,Dinesh,Praveen and me are ready to start a long journey.
Here I want to share my travel experience and environment at India’s top most University.

30th August,Time,6.20 AM: Guwahati Express started from chennai.My first long travel in train,away from home.We have packed loads of snacks and water.I have the courage to see the North-East India which is popular for ULFA, NSCN and army.Only 2 berths were confirmed for us.So we sat next to the window.Got a clear view outside.
Mostly we have seen the paddy with full of water,different kind of people.
We have travelled through 4 states of India Andra pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, finally Assam Capital Guwahati.
After the 2 days travel in train we have reached the Guwahati Railway station on 1st September 6.00AM.
There are some IITians roaming in the station for pick the participants at 6 o clock.They have a bus to bring us to campus.
Around 7o clock we reached campus.They have allocated a room for us.After some time they asked us to take breakfast.We had a good food.At mess Rajesh,doing Ph.D,chemistry approached us apeaking in Tamil.We were happy to met a tamil guy.He helped us a lot through out our stay.
Then we roaming around the campus for some time.
Evening 4o clock we started our walk to visit the View Point @ IITG to see the view of the campus @ night.Mist creates a pleasure environment,while we are moving.
At 6o clock we are there at View point,nice sight seeing place inside the campus.Then we returned to hostel,finished dinner,Got to sleep.

2nd September: Early Morning 2.00AM,
A strange experience happened at nit!!
